Tortilla Announces Changes to Board of Directors | Retail newsletter

Tortilla announced two board changes to support its next phase of growth.

This will include the appointment of Francesca Tiritiello as the new independent non-executive director effective September 20.

With extensive experience in business development, franchising, finance and mergers and acquisitions, Tiritiello is currently a partner and co-founder of Kikkirossi, a European consultancy specializing in the international development of franchises and brands. Previously, she held several director and financial director positions in European hotel companies, including Yum! Trademarks.

Emma Woods, President of Tortilla, said: “We are really excited to have Francesca join Tortilla’s Board of Directors. She brings an in-depth knowledge of operating, developing and franchising restaurant brands in all markets, and I am confident that her experience will prove invaluable during this exciting period of growth for Tortilla, both in the UK UK and internationally, as we seek to expand in line with our long-term growth strategy.

The casual Mexican fast food group has also named Laurence Keen as a senior independent director.

Tortilla said, “Laurence’s skills as CFO of the Hollywood Bowl were transitioned this year to make him a very effective non-executive member of the Tortilla Board of Directors and he will now assume those SID responsibilities while continuing to chair the audit committee. .”
