Starbucks in Newtown closes for a few weeks

I have noticed that many coffee lovers have a routine when it comes to brewing or buying their coffee in a store. It has to come from a certain place, with that perfect amount of milk and sugar and a bunch of other things that all have to be the same every time.

If you’re from the Newtown area and only grab your coffee at Starbucks on the corner of S State Street and W Center Ave, we’ve got some bad news for you.

According to Patch.com, this particular Starbucks location will be closed for quite a while.

Many Newtown residents who stop at this Starbucks location will find the temporary closure very inconvenient.

The Starbucks near the corner of S State Street and W Center Ave will be closed for about 4 to 6 weeks, according to Patch.com.

The reason for the closure of the doors of Starbucks for a few weeks is some sort of training that will be provided there. Starbucks employee Ana Pearson told Patch.com the training needs to be able to serve customers better than before.

The good thing about this is that not all employees at the Starbucks location that will be closed for 4-6 weeks will not have to worry about not being employed during those weeks. We learned from Patch.com that employees at the Starbucks location that will be closing for a few weeks will be moving to another location in the area so that they can continue to earn money.
