Kash Group, based in Milton Keynes, has been shortlisted for the Best In Class Multi-Unit Leader award at the bfa HSBC British Franchise Awards.
Kash Group, led by Director Kashif Jaffar, specializes in catering and fast food delivery in collaboration with companies such as Budgens, Pizza Hut and German Doner Kebab.
Known as the “Oscars” of the franchise industry and taking place on November 30 in Birmingham, the bfa HSBC British Franchise Awards is the flagship event on the franchise calendar.
This year saw a record number of entries submitted across all categories, resulting in an overall increase of almost 30% from 2020.
Despite the difficult 18 months for most freelance businesses, the franchise industry has shown strength and resilience. As a result, many bfa members reported their highest level of franchisee recruitment and one of their most successful years in terms of profitability and business development.
This category represents franchisees who have built empires using franchising, with a clear passion for business and a mastery of management.
Pip Wilkins, CEO of the British Franchising Association, congratulated Kash Group boss Kashif Jaffar. He said: “Faced with many challenges over the past year, Kashif overcame them with ease. Since embarking on this journey, one of the biggest challenges he has faced has been being able to adapt to different cultures.
“He and the Kash Group team have been successful in achieving this goal with a diverse portfolio of companies.
“Kashif and his team should be really proud of this nomination and we can’t wait to see the result.”
Andrew Brattesani, Head of Franchising, HSBC, said: “Kashif’s story of his journey and all he has accomplished is truly inspiring. He puts family values at the forefront throughout his franchise. It shows in the way he treats his employees and in his dedication to rewarding them for their hard work and support. “
