Melcom Group of Companies, the diversified business conglomerate, has announced its entry into the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) business by acquiring the international franchise rights for Pizza Hut in Ghana.
A statement issued by the Melcom Group of Companies, copied to the Ghana News Agency, said the franchise would be operated by the group’s company – Skyline International Limited.
“Pizza Hut is globally recognized as the world’s largest pizza chain, with over 18,000 restaurants in over 100 countries around the world, and will soon be relaunched in Ghana,” he said.
He said Melcom Limited (Melcom) has a network of over 50 retail outlets and continues to grow at a rapid rate, adapting to meet the needs of its customers across the country.
He noted that it has brought shopping to the doorsteps of Ghanaians across the country, making Melcom “Where Ghana Shops”.
The release says that with the introduction of Pizza Hut, it aims to be the preferred destination for families to have the “best pizza in the world.”
The group’s board of directors said: “We are extremely excited and optimistic about our partnership with Pizza Hut in Ghana. core business of retail “.
“We will be announcing the relaunch of the brand very soon and we will grow significantly across the country over the next two years.”
