McDonald’s lovers in the UK went wild over sharing portions of the fast food giant’s popular fries after learning they had been introduced to restaurants in Poland
McDonald’s lovers are begging the fast food giant to introduce ‘chips to share’ to its UK menu after learning giant portions are being served elsewhere in the chain.
Chip sharing has been introduced to restaurants in Poland, as a food critic visiting the UK recently discovered.
Now fans are desperate to see the giant portions featured here after a video shared by the reviewer went viral.
Posting on TikTok as @FoodReview.UK, Michael Jamies shared his amazement.
Showcasing the video as he holds the portion, which is double the size of his hand, Michael says: “I’m in Poland right now and I think this might be the biggest portion of McDonald’s fries ever. in the world.”

“It’s actually a new portion size for them called share size. Look at it. It’s wonderful,” he adds.
While some fans thought the new size was still too small, others said they “needed” to see the portions introduced in the UK, especially after Michael revealed there were even more fries since he had eaten them before filming.
One person said: ‘McDonald’s bring this to the UK please!’
Another called the fries “epic”, while a third simply wrote: “Need”.
Several people also joked that they would travel to Poland just to try the fries.
Unfortunately, there is no other way for UK fans to enjoy the portions at the moment, as a McDonald’s spokesperson told the Mirror: “There are currently no plans to introduce a portion of fries on this scale in UK and ROI.”
