McDonald’s donates 20,000 meals to Odette victims

MANILA – McDonald’s Philippines announced on Tuesday that it will serve 20,000 meals to communities affected by Typhoon Odette through its Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC).

The fast food restaurant chain announced its partnership with the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation, Naval Reserve Command Multi-Sectoral Linkaging Committee, AirAsia, Philippine Airlines and Coca-Cola, to reach and serve affected communities.

McDonald’s franchisees in those areas are also mobilizing to provide meals, the company said.

“We will continue to work with our private and public sector partners for further opportunities to expand our assistance to areas hard hit by Typhoon Odette,” said Kenneth Yang, president and CEO of McDonald’s Philippines.

The company said people can also donate, via bank deposits to the following OMRM bank accounts:
