Make Holi even more festive with the heat of McDonald’s Spicy Chicken Sandwich

There’s something about this year’s Holi that makes the festivities even more special. Perhaps it’s his absence over the past two years that makes him nostalgic. It’s like the world is black and white, and now we can paint the city with as many colors as we want, to celebrate love with family and friends.

I like to think it’s the big comeback of Holi. Once again, people will be able to come together and really feel the vibrant, high-spirited atmosphere the celebration is known for. It’s a refreshing break from our daily “new normal” routines and battling the pandemic for about two years now.

My favorite part of enjoying this festival these days is seeing different colors make life so interesting, more colors, more celebrations and more fun with the people we love.

I have a new routine. As soon as I wake up on Holi morning, I always like to set the mood by streaming a Bollywood playlist to dance to while I make my preparations. The music always hypes me up for the festivities. I always choose a predominantly white outfit, so the colors (and the fun) reflect better once the party really starts. But of course, aside from the colored water, sprays and music, the party wouldn’t be complete without food. McDonald’s Spicy Deluxe Crispy Chicken is part of my new routine. It’s boldly spiced like my favorite Bollywood music, just like the music to my ears. It also has lots of colors – golden crispy chicken, green lettuce, red tomato. It doesn’t matter if I take a big bite or a small bite, my taste buds are dancing.

I feel the heat not only from the spiciness of the Spicy Deluxe Crispy Chicken Sandwich, but also from being home and celebrating Holi. It’s the warmth of being with friends and families again and having conversations with them while having a juicy and delicious meal.

It’s the smallest things that make us feel the warmth of celebrating a festival that has always brightened our spirits.
