Fall River Police make gun and drug arrest at McDonalds – Fall River Reporter

Fall River police arrested a man Tuesday on active warrants in addition to drug and firearms charges.

According to Sergeant Moses Pereira, at around 1:40 p.m. Tuesday, Officer Michael Pavao, while assigned to the Fall River Police Department’s Special Operations Division, was on patrol in the McDonald’s area of ​​834 Brayton Avenue. .

While in the area, Constable Pavao observed Theodore Wilcox III, 37, exiting an Audi sedan that was parked in the McDonald’s parking lot. Wilcox was known to be the subject of an active arrest warrant.

Agent Pavao has requested additional units to help execute the arrest warrant. Wilcox would later be taken into custody on the outstanding arrest warrant without incident.

It was discovered that Wilcox had a loaded Polymer 80 pistol in his belt. According to Pereira, Wilcox did not receive a Massachusetts transport license and cannot legally possess the gun.

Wilcox was also found in possession of 115 Xanax pills for which he does not have a prescription.

In addition to the outstanding warrant, Theodore Wilcox is charged with criminal firearms offenses and possession to distribute a Class A drug.

An investigation is underway to determine the status of the gun.
